Gratitude brings happiness!

Have you heard about a gratitude journal?

It’s a great way to shift your day, energy and add some rays of positivity and happy thoughts to your routine. I discovered this a few months ago and love the energy and good vibes it brings. You basically write 3 to 5 things in a journal that you are grateful for in your day or week. You will wake up and go through your day more conscious of looking for the good things that happen instead of going through your daily duties without much thoughts. You will start to appreciate all the little things that come up on your way and be thankful for them instead of taking them for granted. The nice walk on your way to work, a postcard you received, a magical talk with a friend. When you start paying more attention, you really appreciate those moments even more and it’s much better than focusing on all the things that go wrong or negative vibes. As Oprah said: “Be thankful for what you have; you’ll end up having more. If you concentrate on what you don’t have, you will never, ever have enough.”

We think we have to do something to be grateful or something has to be done in order for us to be grateful, when gratitude is a state of being.” Iyanla Vanzant

The miracle of gratitude is that it shifts your perception to such an extent that it changes the world you see.” Dr. Robert Holden

Whatever our individual troubles and challenges may be, it’s important to pause every now and then to appreciate all that we have, on every level.” Shakti Gawain

Gratitude is the single most important ingredient to living a successful and fulfilled life.” Jack Canfield

Happy positive day!
